Want to know where highway fatalities take place in your operational territory? There is a very interesting new website at www.Saferoadmaps.org . All you have to do is enter a state, city or even a street address and this site will pull up recorded traffic fatalities. Just click on one of the yellow icons on the map and it pulls up details of the incident.
If you have employees that travel specific routes to your customers, it might be interesting to know the history of the route and just how safe the statistics show the route to be. This site only reports traffic fatalities but provides some insight as to the safety of a given location or roadway.
